"I’ve been practicing yoga with Sarah Mapes for more than two years. We started zoom classes during the pandemic and have just kept it going. Thank goodness she has continued because I don’t know what I would do without her guidance. After chemotherapy I was put on a continuing medication that weakens the bones so I’ve been very worried about developing osteoporosis. However, I just had another bone scan and it shows NO additional deterioration in my spine! I am sure this is because Sarah works continually to help us strengthen our back and keep the flexibility to support our bones. Every pose or activity that we do has a specific purpose for strength and flexibility. When I have issues with some part of my body (shoulder, hands, knee), she easily adapts what we are doing to make sure I don’t hurt myself and in fact actually support and strengthen my weakness. I’ve seen her work with inexperienced people entering yoga and she is excellent to help them develop and bring them up to a level that is appropriate for them. Sarah is fun and friendly, but believe me, she makes sure we have a good healthy workout at whatever level or physical ability we are at. I can’t recommend her enough. All I can say is give Sarah a try. You will be amazed at how you grow! "

"I have been doing Yoga for several years and I am so impressed with Sarah's beautiful expression of each of the poses. I am so happy to have learned Dr. Fishman's 12 poses and I am also glad to have a variety of yoga practices to go to in the future. I also like the zoom format. It is great to interact, ask questions, etc rather than just watch a pre-recorded video. Although having the recorded information and practices to go back to is so beneficial as well!"

"I have changed my mind about doing Yoga and I am enjoying the new exercise daily. I now really like yoga because of all the many benefits. Not only for bone building but I feel more calm and grounded. I no longer take blood pressure medicine. I feel less stressed and I am starting to sleep better."
